Year 5: WW1 Day

May 17, 2024

On Wednesday, Year 5 had their WW1 immersive day with our special guest Mr Weaver (sergeant Major). The children had the opportunity to look at WW1 artefacts, experience life in the trenches and make poppies for our topic displays. We were very lucky to have Mr Weaver share stories of the war and to demonstrate what life would have been like for soldiers on the front line.
