Year 6: WW2 Day

December 19, 2024

This week, Year 6 were fully immersed in activities linked to World War Two Day. The children all actively participated by dressing up in appropriate outfits from the era (soldiers, pilots, land women, evacuees) and enjoyed baking cookies using rations, drawing and making 3D aeroplanes (Spitfires and Lancaster bombers), creating propaganda posters and, finally, designing and creating gardens with Anderson shelters in.

A great day was had by all.  Well done, Year 6!
