Reception: Langdon Nature Discovery Park

May 10, 2024
Lions class went to Langdon Nature Discovery Park for their very first school trip this week. We travelled by coach and spotted lots of places that we recognised on the way. At the park, we took part in different activities based around 'The Hungry Caterpillar' and minibeasts such as making our own cocoons, building dens, meadow sweeping and hapa-zome, which is the art technique of using a hammer to create prints of leaves on fabric. The weather was kind to us and we had a lovely day; there were lots of tired little lions on the coach journey home!
