E for Effort
Every week, teachers recognise pupils in their class who have made an extra effort. These pupils are awarded the E for Effort cup in front of the whole school during our Friday afternoon assembly.
Congratulations to all the wonderful children who made an extra effort during the first week of the summer term.

Summer Term Begins
With the sunshine making a welcome appearance and our children rested after the Easter break, the summer term got off to a bright start. As usual, we have a busy term ahead with plenty of inspiring activities planned for our pupils: school trips, theatre visits, sports competitions and much more! Please check the regularly updated school calendar for the list of upcoming events.

Year 4: India Day
First we showed off our costumes at the start of India day, then we made delicious veggie samosas. Chloe said "I liked the samosas because they were yummy. We put curry power in them along with the mixed veggies and potatoes." (by Sophie and Arabella)
For our dessert Mrs Cornish made delicious barfi, it was made out of coconut, icing sugar and condensed milk. Caution: don't make it to runny. Fantastic Miss Wells taught us some interesting Bollywood dancing. The moves were: first one hand apple in the basket then two handed apple in the basket, chop and swish, tornado punch, twisting snake and lastly the turn and step. In talented Miss Claridge's class we made some detailed mehndi patterns. That was the end of our wonderful day! (by ChloƩ and Chikosi)
