Year 5: Art

May 22, 2024
This term, Year 5 have been looking at 'People in Action' and how movement can be portrayed in Art. They have studied different artists and explored different techniques such as printing and montage to create a sense of movement in their artwork. This week, we finished our topic by allowing the children to use and apply what they had learned to create their own piece of movement art. They could choose a technique we had practised or take inspiration from an artist we studied. The children worked exceptionally hard and created some beautiful movement artwork.

Well done, Year 5!
