Year 2: Forest School

January 07, 2022

Wednesday saw the final forest school session for 2MP and what better way to celebrate the past 5 weeks in the woodland than the eagerly awaited campfire! It was a cold and frosty day so the campfire was very much appreciated by all.

The children enjoyed their warming hot chocolate and then toasted a marshmallow which they enjoyed with a biscuit. They have shown great teamwork, perseverance and respect for the environment over the last few weeks as well as learning new skills with the tools. It has been wonderful to observe them enjoying the forest school site.

Thank you, 2MP!
