Year 1: Computing

Year 1 have been learning about programming and algorithms this half term. Through using the Bee-Bots the children have learnt that simple robots can be programmed with instructions to follow. They have enjoyed trying different challenges, including programming the bee-bots to navigate a mini-maze and getting them to follow a line to a Christmas picture. 

Throughout this unit, the children have used fantastic problem solving and debugging skills to spot the mistakes in their instructions and to try again.
