Year 3: Comic Strips

November 30, 2020

Last week in Literacy, Year 3 children worked extremely hard to create their very own comic strips. We learnt all about different speech bubbles, action bubbles and what type of language would typically be found in a comic. We also looked at the 'stereotypical' villain and hero in a comic and how they are portrayed differently from one another. The children created their own characters with impressive names such as: Supershooter, Dr. Dare, Purple Smokes and Dark Shadows. We used these characters to create a plot and then created our strips. Year 3 worked ever so hard to create their comic strips and we hope you enjoy looking at some of the excellent examples. Well done Year 3!
