Year 6: Music

March 08, 2024
Year 6 have been working hard during their Music unit ‘Hip Hop’. They have learnt about:

    · The history of Hip Hop
    · Beat boxing
    · Ostinato (Rhythmic and Melodic)
    · Rap

In the last few weeks, our Year 6 pupils have worked hard to build their own rap. First, they used the alphabet to come up with rhyming words and then they used alliteration to build phrasing. Finally, they put the elements together.

Well done, Year 6! Next we move on to using technology in music!
