Provision for Deaf Children: Upminster Windmill Visit

March 22, 2024

On Wednesday, our KS1 P-HIC pupils visited Upminster Windmill. On their return to school, they worked as a team to write a blog for our website.

We walked through the park to reach Upminster Windmill. What a fantastic time we had there! We had a good look inside and saw where the windmill cat used to live! We found out how flour is ground from grains of wheat on the giant millstones. We had a great time dressing up!
