Year 2: Infant Music Festival

March 19, 2024

Throughout this term, our pupils in Year 2 have been learning songs on the theme of 'All about me.' They then performed in our annual Infant Music Festival alongside pupils from Branfil and Upminster Infant school. Together, in front of the Mayor, Stephanie Nunn and her consort, as well as a very special visitor Mr. Nick Bracken OBE DL, the children sang songs as a year group and as a choir of 270 children.

It was an absolute pleasure to watch the children display confidence and joy as they learnt new songs, rounds and chants with a teacher from Havering Music Service.

Well done Year 2 and a big thank you to Mrs. Tyson for organising the event. It was a huge success and something that we will all remember for a long time.
