Year 1: PSHE

March 08, 2024

As part of their PSHE topic on 'Money Matters', our Year 1 children have been learning about different forms of payment and where money comes from. Last week, the children were given a variety of jobs to complete: teaching, building, litter picking, preparing food in a restaurant and folding clothes in a shop. In order to earn their wages, the children had to work as a group to ensure each of the jobs were completed to a high standard, despite having fussy customers at times! At the end of the lesson, the children had to decide whether they would save or spend their well deserved wages.

Well done, Year 1!
