October 22, 2021

Year 6 have been learning about Lilian Bader for Black History week, who was the first Black woman to work for the RAF during World War II. The children have written biographies identifying the key events in her life, made 3D spitfires (the planes flown during WWII), created Blitz artwork and completed large scale artwork of Lilian's face.
