Nursery: We're Going on a Pumpkin Hunt

October 22, 2021

Nursery have been reading the story 'We're Going on a Pumpkin Hunt', in similar style as the 'We're going on a Bear Hunt' story.

To end our half term we went on a pumpkin hunt to our school field.  The children sequenced the story using the props along the way, joining in with the repeated refrains. At the end of the hunt they found a friendly ghost inside the old, dark, spooky house. To their surprise they found Winnie the Witch with a cauldron full of pumpkin chocolates!

We're definitely going on a pumpkin hunt again!
