Year 5: Black History Week

October 22, 2021

Throughout the week, Year 5 have been learning about Walter Tull, who was a Black Officer during World War II. He was also one of England's first black professional footballers.

Year 5 started the week researching Walter Tull's life: who he was, what happened during his childhood and what he is famous for. They used this information to create class scrap books. They have also created some amazing artwork! The portraits created have been whole class pieces which has shown their amazing ability to work as a team!
