Year 4 have been learning about electrical circuits this half term. This week, they were set a challenge: to use a set of equipment (a piece of card, foil, a buzzer, a cell and wires) to make a stand-on burglar alarm! Each group had to think carefully about what they could do so that when they stepped on the card, the circuit became complete and the electrons could flow through, setting off the buzzer. After trying out a few different ideas, the pupils made their alarms and tested them out at the door. Good scientific thinking, Year 4!
Also, a big well done to our pupil who has brought in his own home-made science experiments to show the class. Miss Claridge was very impressed!Year 4: Electrical Circuits
