Year 6: Forest School

May 13, 2022

Forest School was very much needed for our Year 6 children to let off some steam! Once again, the children in 6EH showed their fantastic teamwork and communication skills. The activities we had planned didn't get a look in with the children deciding to create their own rope swing, attempt to make a zip line, build a den and help Mr Manning to finish some benches using a saw and drill.

We demonstrated how to build a fire and safely light it using a flint and steel. The children then all had a go, creating a spark! Next week is the much anticipated campfire and we can not wait!
