P-HIC: Sir Michael Morpurgo Postcard

May 20, 2022

In April, our KS2 P-HIC children read 'The Castle in the Field' by Sir Michael Morpurgo. This book was by the same author of 'War Horse' which they read last year.

After reading both books the children wanted to tell Sir Michael Morpurgo just how amazing his books were so they decided to write to him. Yesterday, excitingly, they received a postcard from Sir Michael Morpurgo in the post. He thanked the children for their kind words and recommended another book for them to read - 'The Puffin Keeper'.
