This week, Year 6 have been learning about what life was like during 'The Blitz.' They have watched videos, read books, and had discussions about what the Blitz was, when it began, how long it lasted, how the Blitz affected the lives of everyone living through the war and about the English and German air force. The children had the chance to share their wealth of knowledge and develop their understanding further by creating double page, or in some cases quadruple page spreads that had key information and pictures about this horrendous time during WWII.
