Year 6: Wonderful Writers

February 10, 2021

Year 6 put their knowledge and understanding of the situation we are currently living in to good use last week when they wrote their own balanced arguments where they identified reasons for and against schools reopening after half term. They focused on the facts that we are all aware of- infection rates being high, children wanting to get back to school, teachers wanting to get back to school, the fact that vaccines are now being given and the impact lockdown is having on child, parent and teacher relationships to write wonderful balanced arguments. They were all well structured pieces with a whole array of appropriate openers used.

Well done Year 6 for being wonderful writers!
