Year 2: Art

February 12, 2021

Year 2 have been looking at the work of the 16th Century Italian artist Guiseppe Arcimboldo – a painter best known for creating some incredibly imaginative portrait heads made entirely of objects such as fruits, vegetables, flowers, fish and books. Year 2 took on the challenge of creating a portrait in the style of Arcimboldo, making it entirely from food, and I think you will agree that their works of art are just as imaginative and incredible as the man’s himself. Well done Year 2!
