Year 4: Our Happy Places & Non-Chronological Reports

In Art, Year 4 had the opportunity to create a diorama of their 'Happy Place' in celebration of Mental Health Week. This activity allowed children to use their imagination and their artistic skills, such as creating textures with different materials. Here are some examples of the fantastic work that we have received:

Having started our new geography topic, our latest literacy task was to produce our own non-chronological report on a North American country of our choice.  After learning how to structure a topic paragraph, pupils researched their information, wrote their content, and chose a interesting way to present their finished report using features such as photos, captions, headings and sub-headings. Here are some examples of the fantastic work that we have received:
