Year 2: Baking Club

February 12, 2021

Our Year 2 children have continued to amaze us this half term with their talents and another talent to add to their ever-growing list is that of ‘Baker’. Whilst we have been schooling at home, Year 2 have been planning ‘Time Out’ into their weekly routine to focus on things that they enjoy doing and we have found some very skilled chefs. From biscuits to cupcakes to more elaborate large cakes; from pizzas to sausage rolls; from healthy snacks to vegan tarts: our team of cooks have made it all and our Baking Club is going from strength to strength!

Our next challenge is the pancake challenge where children will be sharing their Shrove Tuesday pancake feasts with us. How do you have yours? Lemon and sugar? American style in a stack? Covered in chocolate spread? We are really looking forward to seeing the pancake creations after half term.

Have a wonderful half term break… and BAKE!
