Whole School Art: Daffodils

April 15, 2015
Daffodils have been the subject of recent Art lessons with children across the school completing amazing drawings based on observation. Our pupils looked closely at the flowers, paying particular attention to the shape, colour and shadows of the petals and stem. Some classes produced careful pencil drawings with superb detail while others used watercolour to paint the daffodils. Some children used pastels on a black background to create their striking springtime art. Whatever the medium used or the age of the artist, the results were fantastic. A selection of the children's amazing artworks are on display in the small hall.
