Year 5 had an incredible time stepping back in history for WWI Day. They explored a real-life trench, sang wartime songs and learned all about rationing and life on the front line. The children were fascinated by the artefacts and loved hearing stories shared by visitors about their families’ wartime experiences.
It was a powerful day that brought history to life in a meaningful and memorable way!
