Year 1: Literacy

June 03, 2025

In Literacy, Year 1 have been immersing themselves in poetry. In addition to looking at rhyming pairs and examining some super poetry, they have also learnt a poem by heart. The children did a fantastic job at learning the poem 'The Little Turtle' by Vachel Lindsay and performed it with actions and enthusiasm to their classmates.
