In the final half term of Year 3, the children had their first Food Technology experience in DT- making sandwiches! Over the past weeks, the children have been recapping their knowledge on different food groups and making healthy choices. They then tested several different types of bread to decide which bread they wanted to use for their final product. On Friday last week, the children made their own sandwiches using different breads and fillings of their choice. They were extremely sensible when chopping up ingredients and thoroughly enjoyed spending time in the sunshine as a class eating their very own sandwich! Well done Year 3, what a great final DT project to end the year on a high!
