Year 1: A Very British Affair

July 26, 2021

In Geography Year One have been learning about the four countries in the UK. To celebrate the end of the unit, Year One had a very British afternoon. The children had strawberries and cream whilst watching Wimbledon, learnt about the Queen and then had an afternoon tea. The afternoon tea was the highlight of the afternoon tea and the children loved trying a scone with jam and cream.

This week the children also took part in the readers' treat for those readers who read three times every week this term. The children enjoyed a refreshing ice lolly in the sun!
