Safer Internet Day 2025

To kickstart our Safer Internet line up, our Hacton community were invited to participate in 'The Two Johns' workshop. Our pupils were thoroughly engaged by the interactive activities and the key messages of how to stay safe online, particularly when using games, were made clear to all. 

Following on from the session, all pupils (and staff!) were set the challenge of having a 'Screen Free Day' in school. While technology is a great tool for learning, it is just as important for children to take breaks from being on the screen and enjoy activities such as reading, playing outside and spending time with friends and family. All of our pupils completed this challenge in class but to fully immerse the children in this experience, they were set the additional task of continuing the challenge for the evening at home. 

Our Digital Leaders visited each of the classes to collect the results and we can reveal that the winners of the challenge were...
