Havering Junior Sports Team of the Year Award

February 07, 2025

Our Year 5 and 6 Girls' Football Team from the academic year of 2023 - 2024 were nominated for the Havering Junior Sports Team of the Year. We were utterly gobsmacked to find out that they had reached the final and were to go head-to-head against Engayne Girls' Netball/ Cricket team. Four members of the team were asked to represent Hacton at Upminster Golf Club for the presentation evening on Monday. It was a fantastic evening with a variety of awards given out.

The Junior Sports Team of the Year Award was the penultimate award. The girls sat patiently waiting for their chance to stand at the front and wait in anticipation to find out who had been the worthy winner.

We are INCREDIBLY proud to announce that our 2023 - 2024 Girls' Football Team were the worthy winner of this fantastic award. A wonderful experience and an unbelievable achievement.

Well done, Girls!
