Year 6: DT

June 21, 2024

For a DT project, Year 6 spent the morning making their own flatbreads!

Firstly, they had to make the dough following a recipe, ensuring that each ingredient was measured out accurately. After rolling out the dough, the children took their flatbreads outside to get them cooked on the BBQ. Once cooked, they were able to choose from a selection of fillings: salad, humous, cream cheese, tuna, ham or cheese. Bellies were definitely full! This project was also a great way for the children to start thinking about making their own lunches for secondary school!

Well done, Year 6!
