Year 1: Literacy

November 17, 2021

This week, Year One have been learning about instructions. The children have explored imperative (bossy) verbs and different types of instructions.

On Wednesday, the children were able to follow instructions to make a jam sandwich. Their highlight was being allowed to eat the sandwich afterwards! After spending time rehearsing the instructions with their class friends, the children wrote their very own instructions for a jam sandwich.
