Nursery: Diwali

November 05, 2021

This week, we have been celebrating the diversity of our wider community by learning about the festival of Diwali, the festival of light. Some of our activities included moulding and decorating a lamp from salt dough, a firework painting which we created together by splattering paint on a large-scale canvas and making our own Rangoli patterns on the ground with chalk.

We finished the week with a Diwali banquet where the children were able to eat and make crispy cake sweets and taste traditional Indian savouries.

Happy Diwali!
