Year 6’s Ancient Greek Adventures

Year 6 have been working exceptionally hard in English to write a story based on their character travelling back in time to Ancient Greece just like our current year group text, 'Who Let the Gods Out,' by Maz Evans. 

The children have set their story in a classroom in which they are bored stiff, fall asleep and awake in an unknown land; they later find out that their character is in Ancient Greece on a blood stained battlefield. 

To really engage their readers, they have a long list of success criteria that they are trying to stick to and include. Take a look at some fantastic opening paragraphs for our stories...
