Another Friday, another fun packed science experiment for Year 5. This time we tested various liquids to see how long they took to melt and turn back to their original state. Many of the liquids surprised us, especially the golden syrup as it never actually froze and turned into a solid to begin with, neither did the hand sanitiser. We noticed that the thicker liquids were much slower to defrost than their thinner counterparts. We loved feeling the little bags of liquids and observing their changes during the afternoon.
