Literacy Week: Chicken

Stopwatch Theatre company delivered important messages to the children in Years 5 and 6 on Thursday with their production of Chicken. The drama told the tale of teenage cousins Danny and Christopher as they battled and supported each other through the dilemmas faced by growing up adolescents. Captivated by the poignant performance, the children were silenced as they witnessed the possible outcomes of submitting to peer pressure when crossing a busy road. On a lighter note, following the performance, an interactive workshop enabled the children to rehearse possible reactions to scenarios and choices which they may face in the future.
