As part of our RE curriculum, Year 2 recently enjoyed an exciting visit to St Andrew’s Church. The trip was a fantastic opportunity for the children to deepen their understanding of Christian places of worship and explore the key features of a Church.
The church helpers guided the children through the main parts of the Church, explaining the significance of the altar, pulpit, font and pews. One of the highlights of the day was having the chance to ring the Church bells!
This visit gave the children a memorable insight into the traditions and symbols of the Christian faith.
