Year 2 had a very exciting visitor all the way from the 1860s: Florence Nightingale!
Through an interactive workshop, the children went on a journey with Florence to Scutari as part of her team of nurses and worked with soldiers during the Crimean War. They learnt about the changes Florence made during the battle and what happened in her life when she returned to England.
What a fabulous experience for our Year 2 pupils!
