Year 5: Literacy Week

April 07, 2025
This week, Year 5 have been exploring 'The Three Little Pigs' as part of our Fairy Tale themed week. The children began by re-enacting the classic story in groups, bringing the characters to life with plenty of drama and creativity!

The children also put their engineering skills to the test, building sturdy homes for the pigs and seeing if they could withstand the Big Bad Wolf - a powerful hairdryer! It was a fantastic mix of storytelling, teamwork and problem solving.

We loved ending the week all dressed up and with making biscuits!
