Year 2: Ramadan

March 16, 2025
Yesterday, the Year 2 children were treated to a wonderful RE lesson from one of our lovely mums. She came in to teach the children about the festival of Ramdan and how it is celebrated in the Muslim culture.
Rebekah read the children a story before giving them a charity box to decorate, make and take home. They were also given a sweet treat to take home as a reminder of their lesson and the reasons behind Ramadan.

The children thoroughly enjoyed their lesson and the Year 2 staff would like to thank Rebekah for being so generous with her time. Happy Ramadan to all of our Muslim community.
