Year 2: Geography

March 07, 2025
As part of 'Our Wonderful World' unit this half term, Year 2 have been learning the names of the seven continents and five oceans and where we find these in our wonderful world.

The children were given a blue balloon to represent the Earth. They then had to label, cut and stick the continents and oceans to it using the atlas to support them. The children displayed excellent teamwork and fieldwork skills in using an atlas correctly. They were also very careful with their balloons to ensure they didn’t pop!

Good work, Year 2!
