Year 6: Reading Ambassadors

October 09, 2024

Our Year 6 Reading Ambassadors have had a fantastic start to the year and have shown great passion in their new roles!

Over the past few weeks, the children have met their Year 1 buddies and have enjoyed getting to know them on a personal level. The will now meet with them on a weekly basis to enjoy a story and encourage a passion for reading.

As well as reading with our younger children, our Year 6 team also have the exciting job of ensuring that the library is themed each month, starting with Black History Month. Lots of reading themes are planned for the year ahead and we hope that the colourful and inviting library will continue to motivate our children to read, read and read!
