Year 6: World War II Day

December 19, 2023

Today, Year 6 were fully immersed in a dress up World War II experience. Throughout the day, the children baked oat cookies with rations; made 3D spitfires; decorated basic WW2 Christmas decorations and created an Anderson shelter diorama in groups.

Creativity was in full flow all afternoon as the children created vegetable patches, washing lines, gumboots, bridges and flags.

Well done, Year 6! We have had a lovely day with you!
