Year 1: St. Andrew's Church Trip

December 14, 2023
Year 1 recently spent the morning visiting St. Andrew's Church. As part of our learning about our local area, the children were very excited to visit one of Hornchurch's most famous landmarks. Using our knowledge of 'aerial views' and the features on a map, the children were able to consider the best route to reach our destination before we set off. Whilst inside the church, the children explored what happens during a Baptism ceremony. They were bursting with thoughtful questions and were wonderful Hacton representatives.

Well done, Year 1!
