Year 2: Colchester Zoo

June 20, 2023

The sun was shining for Year 2's school trip to Colchester Zoo on Friday. After learning about different animals and their habitats, the children were very excited to see the animals in action and luckily, due to the warm weather, the animals were on top form! We had monkeys swinging across the branches, goats climbing up fences to reach the bushes, sealions showcasing their amazing swimming skills and Rainbow Lorikeets awaiting the children to feed them!

Our Year 2 children were impeccably behaved, so much so that we received an email at lunchtime form a member of the public who was visiting the zoo on the same day!

Thank you for an amazing day out, Year 2! We are all very proud of you!
