Year 2: Forest School

November 30, 2022
It was a session of two halves for 2JD - the first half of the afternoon was cold but dry but the second half was very wet! It was not a passing shower as we first thought so an emergency shelter was built to protect us all from the elements. It didn't stop us having fun though! The children used the drill to make a hole in a wooden disc which they then turned into fabulous, sparkly Christmas decorations. They also played in the mud kitchen, climbed the tree and had fun on the rope swing.

Next stop, the celebratory campfire on the 12th!
