Remembrance Day 2022

November 11, 2022

Today, on the 11th day, of the 11th month and at the 11th hour, we joined with people around the world to stand in silent contemplation. We stopped. We thought. We remembered.

With our poppy memorial in sight, we remembered those who have sacrificed so much for our country. To mark the end of our reflection, three of our Year 6 children read the poem 'In Flanders Fields'. Despite the chaos and destruction, these resilient flowers grew and flourished and are now a symbol of remembrance and hope.
