Year 6: Imperial War Museum

December 06, 2019
Year 6 explored the Imperial War Museum in London as part of learning about World War Two. They focussed on the 'Turning Points: 1934-1945' display where they learnt about events before and during the war. They explored many fascinating artefacts, which helped to deepen their understanding of this period of history. They also visited a very engaging temporary exhibition called ‘Art in exile'. Here, they learnt about the Imperial War Museum’s plan for evacuating their art collection during World War Two.
