School Council: Recycled Fun

December 06, 2019
After a lengthy and enthusiastic discussion, our School Council decided on a Recycled Fun stall for the Hacton Christmas fete.

Council members bought in their pre-loved books, toys, games and DVDs. They had a few busy lunchtimes organising, sorting and pricing up. Selling and negotiating came naturally to the children and they even had a Black Friday sale to sell off the last remaining stock. "I’m the best seller in the world!", exclaimed one pupil. We may have found some future stars of The Apprentice!

The School Council made a very impressive £84.00 for future school projects.

"It’s nice to know people don’t just want new things."
"I’m amazed at how much we made and how much we sold."
