Year 5 have been learning about the hardships of life as a solder in World War 1. To help bring history to life, the children were lucky enough to have the 10th Essex Living History Group visit us. Mr Weaver (Sargent Major) arrived with a wealth of WW1 artefacts and knowledge which the children thoroughly enjoyed exploring. What a brilliant way to fully immerse themselves in history!
